About Me
With over a decade of experience in diagnostic imaging agent development, I have led projects on nanoparticle-based agents and molecular probes. My research focuses on designing next-generation biocompatible contrast agents using paramagnetic transition metals.
Professional Background
I am an Associate Research Scientist in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at Yale University. I pioneered the development of ultra-small iron oxide nanoparticles for T1 MRI and now focus on designing next-generation biocompatible contrast agents using paramagnetic transition metals.
Education
- Ph.D. in Bio-Chemistry from Pondicherry University, India
- Postdoctoral training at Yale University
Professional Memberships
- Nominated Full-Member of scientific research honor society, Sigma Xi
- American Chemical Society (ACS)
- International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM)
- World Molecular Imaging Society (WMIC)
Personal Interests
Born and raised in Banaras, one of the world's oldest living cities known for its rich spiritual and cultural heritage, I enjoy cooking, music, dancing, and exploring new places.
